I think this picture is amazing. I love the beautiful colors, the perfect focus and the composition of the frame. This is a great example of how is more important the hand of the photographer, his vision, besides his technical skills. I love the contrast between the wait wings and the purple flowers. This picture is enriched, of course, by the presence of the two butterflies that give the idea of love and freedom. The great impact of this beautiful picture is undeniable. It has captured my attention at the first glance. This is the purpose of art: to transmit a deep emotion. I think this is a very good work and I hope to reach this level one day in my photos. Brava!
No it's not a secret! I used my 50 mm f1.4 lens at aperture f 2.8, that's why the background is blurred I guess. The shot was made in a purple heath/moorland (I don't know the right English word), so there were many purple flowers. For post processing I lowered the saturation a little and upped the tint in Lightroom to enhance colour of the purple flowers.
